I began racing in 2002 at the age of 12, since then life has been only for one thing, racing...... Anything before or after racing is just waiting... In my career I have had many ups and many, many downs. Nothing has stopped me in Striving to reach my dream. I have dedicated my whole life to racing or training in some way for the next event, always striving to be better and faster. I am looking forward to 2015 as our Team has become increasingly Stronger as this season progressed & it will be good to work with 2 young riders with great potential & hopefully pass on some of my Knowledge & Keep them from making the mistakes I made early in my career.

2014: This year I have been competing onboard four different bikes. One bike is a prototype Aprilia RRV 550 which I was asked to ride in a Supertwin class which we have had great success, winning races with lap records but also had our share of disappointments with mechanical failure when the bike showed great potential. The 2nd bike is the Knight Road Race Team's Ducati 1198 R who gave me the opportunity to ride this bike in the Thundersport GP1 category which we have been able to do great things. We have been able to win and not be off the podium since I started riding the bike. This year we have also had an opportunity to race in the very competitive British Superstock 600 at BSB meetings. We finished 5th at Donington park which I was happy with as we were a gap rider and it was our first time on the bike. Finally I had the opportunity to ride a MV supersport at Donnington Park & finished a creditable 6th on the first outing on the bike.

2013: I had an opportunity to race in the Spanish Moto2 Championship. This would be in the Moto2 category onboard an FTR. We were able to run in the top 10 in this very competitive class occasionally but always scoring championship points. Unfortunately the money involved finished our season prematurely.

2012: I went in to another one make Championship which was a support race for British Superbike named the British Ducati 848 Challenge. We finished 2nd in this championship and was awarded the Riders 'Rider of the year' award.

2011: After a long break after the Superteens due to lack of funding and support, I was able to find financial support and took part in the National Aprilia RRV 450 Championship. In this year we won the Championship at my first attempt. I was invited over to the U.S. Taking part in a race at the New Jersey Motorsport park to take part on a test day which led to a race. We won the Superbike race in great style onboard an Aprilia RSV4. There is a write up of my visit to America (http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/other-sport/moto-gp-james-folkard-brink-3362192)

2007: I took part in the National Aprilia Superteens Challenge Championship. We won the Championship.

2002-2003: I took part in the JRA Championship where I came 2nd in 2003.
